The rain was falling fast, the wind was howling, and the sky was a mix of dark gray, light gray, and slightly less-light-gray. The pair had been walking through the woods for what seemed like hours now as they struggled to make their way back to their home. Naomi's umbrella had broken in the storm earlier, and Karin's umbrella didn't have a second layer so it did little time keeping out the rain.
"I don't know about you, but I am freezing my tits off!" Naomi said as she began rubbing her hands together vigorously. "I just want to go home and change into some dry clothes."
They both stopped walking and looked around at their surroundings. They were standing in an area of the forest they were unfamiliar with; they had gotten lost while trying to make their way home from the store.
"You know we should probably keep moving," Karin said. "We can't stop here too long or we'll freeze to death."
Naomi sighed. "You're right...but I'm tired of walking." She leaned against a tree and closed her eyes. It's not like it made much difference: the ground was already soaked through by the thick layers of fallen leaves covering it, so Naomi knew she wouldn't be able to sit down on it. The thought that they might be stuck out there all night was starting to scare her. She'd seen plenty of horror movies where people got lost in the woods and froze to death before being eaten by bears or something...and this is Japan after all - bears are totally a thing here!
Naomi opened her eyes again and looked around. A few feet away from her there was a large rock sticking out from the ground underneath a small bush that was growing nearby. All of a sudden, an idea popped into her head...she looked up at Karin and grinned mischievously. Karin noticed Naomi's expression and asked her what she was thinking about. "...something naughty?"
"That's right!" Naomi said as she walked over towards the rock and sat down on it. "I think that we deserve a break right now anyway."
Karin strolled up to Naomi with curiosity plastered across her face. "What are you doing?" She asked as she stood in front of her girlfriend who was still seated on top of the rock, looking up at her curiously as well. Naomi put one leg on either side of Karin's waist and reached up with both hands, grabbing onto Karin's shoulders before pulling her into a kiss with all of the passion she could muster between two exhausted girls in a wet environment during a thunderstorm on top of a rock surrounded by trees in the middle of nowhere!
The couple continued making out for several more moments until finally breaking apart for air again. Karin smiled at her lover and then chuckled softly as she let out a sigh, "Wow...that really helped warm me up!" She turned around to look around them once more before facing forward again and saying: "Let's try picking somewhere else next time..."
