Bridging the Realms: Bruno and the War of Supernaturals

The rain fell in thick sheets as the car drove through the streets. The driver was silent, his eyes were fixed on the road in front of him as he glanced at the rear-view mirror every now and then to check for any cars. I sat in the backseat of the car with my head resting on the window pane. Everything was blurry and I couldn’t see anything clearly despite being wide awake. A sense of dread filled my heart as the thought of what could happen if our plan fails ran through my mind.

I remembered everything that led us to this moment. It all started when Rafaela had showed up at our doorstep one evening, drenched in rain and carrying an unconscious Victor with her. At first, we didn’t know who she was or why she came to us but it soon became clear after she introduced herself as an angel of God sent by him to warn us about a war between angels, demons and vampires that would ravage the planet if we don’t stop it. Her appearance was unexpected but what she said was even more unbelievable so I decided to ask her some questions before I decided whether or not I should trust her.

I questioned her about what she meant about angels, demons and vampires waging war on each other and how does it involve humans in their conflict. A part of me doubted her words but another part of me wanted to believe her so I asked again: “How can such a thing happen?” She answered me with a smile, “War is caused by hatred, a hatred that can only be quelled by love or death. It just so happens that these three groups were once bound together by a contract forged by Lucifer himself however that contract has been broken long ago when Lucifer defied God and rebelled against him along with his followers.”

That explained everything perfectly though it also created a lot more questions than answers like: “Why have you chosen me to help you stop this war?” Rafaela looked at me with eyes filled with wisdom and said to me: “God has chosen you because you are kind hearted, giving and brave beyond measure. You have never lost your faith despite all that life has thrown at you which is why I know nothing will be able to stop you from putting an end to this war once it begins if we can’t stop it before it even starts!”

I thanked her for her kind words then asked one last question: “What do we do next?” Rafaela smiled at me before answering: “We go to Paris where Victor will meet Bruno and give him his powers back before he can use them to unleash hell on Earth!” Those words sent shivers down my spine but they also filled me with courage and determination! I knew then that nothing would stand in our way now! After all, there was no way we could lose when God himself had chosen us to fight this war!
