I am Awerial Parach Mel Koro. I was born on January 15, 2000 in the village of Awerial, which is now a county in South Sudan. My journey in education began in 2015 at St. Daniel Comboni Primary School.

Before my birth, while I was still in my mother's womb, the church members prayed for me to be a male. It was their belief that having a male child born in the church would bring blessings and favor. And so it came to pass – I was born in the church.

My parents, Mary and Daniel, are loving and kind. My mother is especially dear to me. She is known as one of the most beautiful women in all of South Sudan.

My father holds an important position as a bishop in our county of Awerial. He is respected by many and serves as a spiritual leader for our community.

As for my dreams and aspirations, I long to become an engineer. I have always been fascinated by construction and designing beautiful houses and structures. It brings me joy to imagine creating something remarkable with my own two hands.

In addition to pursuing engineering, I also have a dream of entering into politics one day. As I grow older, I see the importance of leadership and making a positive impact on society. By joining politics, I hope to be able to contribute to the development and progress of my beloved country, South Sudan.

These are my hopes and ambitions – to become an engineer who constructs magnificent buildings and later on, a politician who works tirelessly for the betterment of our nation.
