"Are you sure this is the right place?" Tommy asked, squinting at the island in the distance. It was a rocky, mountainous mass surrounded by choppy waters.

Rachel nodded. "According to the map, this is it. The Island of Giants."

John adjusted his backpack and looked at his friends. "Remember, we're not just here for fun. This island is dangerous. Full of traps and treacherous terrain. But if we can make it through, the treasure and artifacts are worth it."

Tommy grinned, twirling one of his throwing knives in his hand. "Sounds like my kind of adventure."

They boarded the small boat that would take them to the island and set off across the water.

As they got closer, they could see that there was more to the island than just rocks. There were crumbling structures and statues scattered across its surface.

"It's like a graveyard," Rachel said softly.

"A graveyard full of treasure," John added.

They docked their boat on a small stretch of sandy beach and made their way onto the island.

The heroes had barely taken ten steps when they heard a low rumbling sound from above them.

They looked up in time to see a massive boulder hurtling towards them.

"Scatter!" John yelled, pushing Rachel out of harm's way as he dove for cover behind a broken stone pillar.

Tommy leaped into action, using his superhuman reflexes to dodge out of the path of the boulder just in time.

When it finally came to a stop, they cautiously emerged from their hiding spots.

"Well," Tommy said with a grin. "That was fun."

"You call that fun?" Rachel asked incredulously.

Tommy shrugged. "Adrenaline junkie, remember?"

John pulled out his map again and studied it carefully. "I think I know where we need to go next." He pointed towards a crumbling stone staircase that led up the side of one of the mountains. "The Temple of Titans. It's where all the best artifacts are rumored to be."

They made their way up the treacherous stairs, careful not to trigger any more traps.

When they reached the top, they found themselves in a large open courtyard with towering statues all around them.

"Look at the size of these things," Tommy marveled, running his hand along one massive stone leg. "I don't think I'd want to meet one in a dark alley."

Rachel looked around nervously. "Do you think there are still...giants and titans here?"

John shook his head. "No, they're long dead. Turned to stone just like these statues."

As if on cue, one of the statues came to life.

"Oh no," Rachel whispered.

The giant loomed over them, its eyes glowing red as it swung a massive stone fist in their direction.

Tommy rolled out of harm's way and drew his bow, firing an arrow at the giant's face.

It didn't even flinch.

"Run!" John yelled, grabbing Rachel's hand and pulling her towards the temple entrance.

They sprinted across the courtyard with the giant hot on their heels.

When they reached the safety of the temple, they collapsed against the door, panting for breath.

"That was close," Rachel said shakily.

John nodded. "We need a new plan. Our powers aren't enough to take down a giant."

Tommy looked at them both seriously. "Then we'll have to work together." He paused and grinned. "And maybe find some better weapons."

They explored the temple carefully, searching for anything that might help them defeat a giant or two.

In one room, they found an old suit of armor that would fit John perfectly, complete with a sword almost as tall as he was.

In another, they found a collection of ancient scrolls that detailed the weaknesses of giants and titans.

Armed with their new knowledge and weapons, they made their way back to the courtyard.

The giant was still there, but now it had been joined by two more.

"Great," Tommy muttered. "A party."

They fought the giants using a combination of John's strength and swordsmanship, Rachel's force fields, and Tommy's agility and marksmanship.

It was a long and brutal battle, but in the end, they emerged victorious.

As the last giant crumbled to dust, they stood together in the courtyard, battered and bruised but triumphant.

"We make a good team," Rachel said with a smile.

John nodded. "We do."

Tommy clapped John on the shoulder. "Now let's go find those artifacts. I'm itching for another adventure."
