Stars, Secrets, Love

Kian and Nora had been friends for as long as they could remember. Growing up in the same neighborhood, they shared laughter, inside jokes, and memories that would last a lifetime. Kian was the quiet, thoughtful type, while Nora was full of energy and light, always drawing people in. Though they were close, their friendship had always stayed just that—platonic.

Nora had a boyfriend, someone who seemed perfect on the outside but eventually shattered her heart into pieces. One rainy evening, after the breakup, Nora showed up at Kian's doorstep, eyes swollen from crying. She didn't have to say a word. Kian understood. He welcomed her in, handed her a blanket, and they sat on the couch in silence.

For the next few weeks, Kian was her rock. He listened to her heartbreak, consoled her, and reminded her of her worth when she felt like she had none. He never asked for anything in return. Kian  just wanted to see her smile again.

One night, while they were lying on the grass in the park, staring up at the stars like they often did, Kian turned to him. "Why are you always here for me?" she asked softly, her voice fragile yet curious.

Kian hesitated for a moment then replied,"Because I care about you Nora.I always have."

There was something in the way he said it that made Nora pause.She looked at him differently.Seeing him not just as a loyal friend,but someone who quietly loved her all along.Suddenly,it all made sensehow he never let her down.How he was always there when no one else was.

It wasn't long before Nora realized that she loved Kian too.Deeply,truly.He had been her constant when everything else had fallen apart.She didnt just love him because he was there for him when she was broken.She loved him because he has always seen her even when she didn't see herself.

A few weeks later,they went for a walk under the stars as they usually did but this time was different.Divine slipped her hand into Kians,and when he looked at her in surprise,she smiled."I love you, Kian."

Kians heart swelled with joy,a quiet smile spreading across his face.He squeezed her hand."I love you too Nora."

From that moment,everything changed.They began dating,and their bond only deepened.What started as a friendship had blossomed into something beautiful,something they both knew was meant to be.
