One day, Tessa walked into her room and found a guy in there.

At that moment, something clicked in both of their minds. They broke eye contact and looked down at their feet. They were standing too close together. Too close together to be friends who barely knew each other. But they were not lovers either. Not yet anyway.
David and Tessa awkwardly shuffled around each other until they were no longer touching each other and returned their gaze back to each other's face.
Together again, they felt even more awkward now that they made physical contact with each other.
David spoke first as he looked around the room full of girl stuff and said, "Erm.. Where's Andy?"
Tessa replied while looking around the room full of boy stuff and said, "Erm.. Where's David?"
A few minutes later, David walked into his room and saw a girl in there.
He was surprised, but that wasn’t the thing that stood out to him the most. What stood out to David was that this girl was smiling at him with a gaze full of wonder and curiosity just like he did earlier with Tessa when he saw her for the first time in this room full of girl stuff.
David was about to speak when he realized that talking would break whatever spell these two shared together now. So instead, he looked around the room full of boy stuff and said nothing as he folded his arm across his chest happily before walking out of the room with a smirk on his face while whistling 'Eye Of The Tiger' softly.
