Rahedio, a young inventor with an affinity for people and technology, was working in his lab when he heard the doorbell ring. Pushing his glasses further up his nose, he turned off the soldering iron, stood up from his workbench, and walked over to the door. He opened it to see a small creature standing there. It had two ears, one on each side of its head, three eyes, and a long snake-like tail with fins at the end. It was wearing a pinstriped suit and held a briefcase in front of itself.

"Miss Saralea?" Rahedio asked. The creature nodded. "I'm Rahedio." He said, holding out his hand.

Saralea shook it with her left hand. "Nice to meet you." She said formally.

Rahedio smiled warmly at her. "Welcome to my home." He motioned for her to come in as he closed the door behind them. "I'll show you around." He said cheerfully as they walked down the hallway towards the living room.

"Thank you." Saralea replied politely.

As they entered the living room, Saralea saw that it was filled with various machines and inventions scattered around the floor or parts of different machines hanging from the ceiling or sitting on top of tables next to half-finished circuit boards, wires and pieces of electronics in random places around the room where Rahedio had left them after working on them earlier that day. There were also several chairs set up facing a TV which was showing an image of Rahedio standing in front of a camera wearing an orange shirt with a blue tie printed with circuit boards and green pants that looked like they were made out of kelp. The camera was making some sort of high pitched whirring sound and blinking red light every few seconds indicating that it was recording as well as flashing brightly for about 3 seconds every 20 seconds or so indicating that it was about to record again - which explained why Rahedio always seemed to constantly be looking up into the middle distance during his shows on TV and then jumping back into place right before he went live again after getting distracted by something or someone nearby while talking to someone off camera who would tell him "3...2...1...Go!"

"Is this your show?" Saralea asked curiously as she watched him begin talking enthusiastically to the camera and pointing at various items on his desk behind him while gesturing wildly at them while they both sat down on couches facing each other across a coffee table in front of the TV screen.

"Yes!" Rahedio grinned happily at her and then continued talking into the camera about this and that about different things he'd invented until suddenly he looked up and noticed her sitting there watching him through the window into his living room from wherever she was sitting on whatever planet she lived on in outer space far away in another galaxy somewhere else altogether who knows where because no one really knows what's out there beyond our solar system but still we're all sure there must be life somewhere out there because we're not alone out here are we? Or are we?

"Oh!" Rahedio exclaimed happily when he realized she was watching him at last before pointing at himself with both hands and saying "Rahedio". Then he pointed at Saralea sitting across from him on the couch listening intently while staring straight ahead at him while absentmindedly twirling her long finny tail around herself like a little girl playing with a ribbon around her head thinking about something else entirely while trying not to get tangled up in it like she always did when she got lost in thought like everyone does now and then right? And then finally he finished by waving goodbye (Hello!) before ending his intro-show segment by pushing a button under his desk that turned off whatever lights were illuminating his face while leaving everything else lit up bright enough so they could see what he was doing even though everything else just blurred together into one big mess only finding himself sitting behind all those boxes piled everywhere randomly strewn all over his living room floor looking completely lost for a minute wondering where did all those boxes come from anyway since I don't remember packing any of them myself let alone owning this many boxes anyway but I guess I must have bought them somewhere along the way because where did all these inventions come from if not me when did I make all these things?! Oh wait! What time is it?! Oh no! Oh no oh no oh no oh no! Look at the time! Gotta go! Bye! Talk to you later!
