Gritt Wen Shan and the Ancient Rescue
·
Published 5/27/2023Facing long odds and determined to protect her people, courageous Chinese soldier Gritt Wen Shan embarks on a daring mission to rescue an innocent girl from an evil cult, questioning the depths of her strength and wit as she risks her life to traverse the wild Chinese landscape in pursuit of her ultimate challenge.

As Gritt walked through the woods she began to wonder if this was a good idea. She had never been this far into the woods before, and hadn’t seen any signs of habitation. But as she walked along, she noticed that the forest seemed to be getting denser and denser. Sure enough, it started getting darker very quickly, and she had to start paying attention to the ground so she wouldn’t trip on any roots or branches. That was when she heard something move.
She froze instantly, and listened intently. After a few seconds she heard it again. It sounded like footsteps. And they didn’t sound like human footsteps; they seemed more…clumsy and heavy, but also quick and light. There was also a faint sound of something being dragged along behind the footsteps. She heard it again, this time much closer than before. She could tell that whatever it was was starting to circle around her in the darkness of the forest. This made her nervous, but she wasn’t about to show fear. She held her weapon out in front of her and waited for the thing to make its move.
It was then that she saw a bright light appear in front of her, then another one on either side of her, and another one behind her. The light illuminated a small figure that looked like it was holding hands with itself while crouching down on all fours. It was covered in dark brown fur with red eyes, long pointy ears sticking up out of its head, and sharp teeth showing out from underneath its black lips as it snarled at Gritt menacingly. It let go of one hand from its body and reached for something hanging from a strap around its neck. Before Gritt knew what was happening there was an arrow flying at her from the creature’s bow that hit her straight in the chest!
Gritt fell backwards onto the ground and felt sharp pain in her chest where she was hit by the arrow. She opened her mouth to scream but instead felt blood start filling up her lungs as she gasped for air that would not come, which caused more blood to fill up her lungs faster until finally all she could do was cough up blood instead of taking in air through her mouth as she lay dying on the forest floor. The creature just stood there watching as Gritt slowly died from blood loss on the cold hard forest floor surrounded by four small balls of light illuminating whatever creature had just killed her as it watched silently with no emotion what so ever on its face except for maybe a hint of satisfaction or enjoyment?
The ball lights eventually faded away along with everything else around Gritt until suddenly she found herself standing in front of an old wooden door with two torches on either side of it burning brightly at both ends that were really only one torch each now due to most of their flames having burned out leaving only wisps of smoke trailing off into nothingness after both torches have been burning for who knows how long without anyone tending them or replacing their fuel with new wood or oil? Gritt stepped forward towards the door with both hands stretched out in front of her ready to grab hold of either door handle when suddenly someone grabbed hold of each hand making Gritt jump back startled before looking around to see who it was?
There standing right next to Gritt were two girls one who looked exactly like Gritt except younger while wearing some sort of strange outfit made out of animal hide and what looks like bones? On top of her head is some sort of bone helmet covered in red cloth with white strips going down each side onto what looks like some sort tribal markings carved into bone running down both sides as well? Then there is another girl who looks older than Gritt dressed in a white robe covered in what look like Chinese symbols written all over them whose hair is blackish-blue which goes down past its shoulders with red streaks going though it here and there? It almost looks like paint except you can tell by looking at those streaks that those aren’t clothes those are real streaks going through their hair dyeing their hair red?
