Atlantis Rising

Rose clutched the Heart of the Ocean in her hand, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't believe that this was how it was going to end. After surviving the sinking of the Titanic, after finding love with Jack and losing him just as quickly, she was going to die alone on a floating door in the middle of the freezing Atlantic.
As Rose looked out at the endless expanse of water, something caught her eye. A glimmer of light, far off in the distance. She squinted, trying to make out what it was. And then, she saw it—a massive wave, rising up from beneath the surface and hurtling towards her.
Before Rose had time to react, the wave crashed over her and everything went black.
When Rose opened her eyes again, she found herself surrounded by darkness. She could hear muffled voices calling out to her from somewhere far away.
"Rose! Rose! Are you okay?"
"Is she breathing?"
"Someone get a doctor!"
Rose tried to respond, but her voice came out as a weak croak. She felt a pair of hands on her shoulders and tried to sit up, but pain shot through her body and she collapsed back onto whatever soft surface she was lying on.
"Take it easy," said a soothing voice. "You're safe now."
Gradually, Rose's eyes adjusted to the darkness and she realized that she was lying on a bed in what appeared to be some kind of cave or grotto. The walls were covered in shimmering crystals that cast an ethereal glow over everything.
As Rose looked around in confusion, a figure stepped forward from the shadows. It was a young man with long hair and piercing blue eyes.
"Who are you?" Rose asked weakly.
"My name is Finn," said the young man. "I found you floating in the water near my home."
"I don't understand," said Rose. "Where am I?"
"You're in the lost city of Atlantis," said Finn.
Rose stared at him in disbelief. She had heard stories of Atlantis, of course, but she had always believed it to be just a myth.
"But how is that possible?" she asked. "Atlantis was supposed to have sunk beneath the sea thousands of years ago."
"It did," said Finn. "But some parts of it were preserved, hidden away from the world above. My people have lived here for generations, guarding the secrets of this place."
Rose's mind was spinning. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"And what about the Heart of the Ocean?" she asked. "What happened to it?"
Finn's expression grew serious.
"The necklace is more than just a piece of jewelry," he said. "It's a powerful artifact, imbued with ancient magic. When you dropped it into the water, it created a portal that brought you here."
Rose felt a pang of guilt. She had never meant for any of this to happen.
"I'm so sorry," she said. "I didn't know."
Finn reached out and took her hand in his.
"It's not your fault," he said gently. "You didn't know what the necklace was capable of."
Just then, there was a commotion at the entrance to the grotto and several merfolk swam into view, their tails shimmering in the light.
"Queen Seraphina!" one of them called out excitedly. "We found her!"
The merfolk parted to make way for an elegant woman with flowing silver hair and eyes that seemed to hold all the wisdom of the ocean.
"Rose Dawson," said Queen Seraphina, her voice like music on the waves. "We have been expecting you."
