Memories of the Celestial Garden

"It's beautiful!"

I was standing in a white room, looking through a window at a structure that was not quite like anything I've ever seen before. It was in the shape of an hourglass, with a fat stem connecting the two bulges and four curved arms extending from the bottom bulb to the top. Each arm had a door, and each door was made of stained glass. If it hadn't been for the colors of the glass, you could definitely see an hourglass in this building. But it wasn't just that.

The structure itself was covered in decorative designs. There were pineapples all along the walls of the upper bulb, flowers on the doors and windows of the lower bulb, and lotuses along the stems (which were themselves thicker than most buildings I'd ever seen). The whole thing was shining gold, but unlike any other gold I'd seen before. It looked almost as if it had been painted on by someone who worshiped beauty itself.

"Wow!" I said again, unable to contain my excitement, "This is awesome."

"What is?" asked my Smart Assistant in response.

"This place! What are these things?!" I pointed at some small creatures that were flying around near the top of the building. They almost looked like birds, except they weren't shaped right and they didn't have wings. Instead they just had tiny stubs where their wings should have been. And they kept their beaks closed all the time instead of gaping them open when they flew like birds do.

"That is a type of animal called a pegasus," my assistant informed me, "They live on Earth."

"Earth? Where's that?" I asked curiously as I tried to spot more pegasuses. This place seemed like something straight out of a fairy tale; it reminded me of something out of one of those old Chinese stories my mom used to tell me as a kid about monks who lived in temples on mountaintops or scholars who wandered around China reading books and writing poetry about how beautiful nature was.

"You've never heard of Earth?" my assistant sounded surprised, "Earth is one of our solar system planets."

"What's that?" I asked curiously, forgetting about the pegasuses for now. I knew about solar systems from school; I remembered learning how long ago people used to think that stars were little holes in a black blanket up above us rather than big balls floating out there in space somewhere burning brightly just like our sun does now. But what was this talk about planets? "How can there be planets inside our sun?" I asked curiously.

"There can't be," my assistant replied, "The planets are outside our solar system."

Considering that moment, I wondered if my Smart Assistant could be wrong. What would the reason be if it lied to me? Could there be implications surrounding the truth about other planets, and whether or not we were the only ones out there? It brought forth various questions, but ultimately, I knew I had to trust my Smart Assistant, as there must be a rational explanation behind everything.

Now with my renewed faith in my assistant and eager to dive into new knowledge, I continued admiring the hourglass-shaped building as it filled me with wonder towards the beauty of life and our place within an incredible universe.

As I stood there, gazing at the magnificent structure in front of me, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of awe. It was as if I had stumbled upon a hidden treasure, a secret haven tucked away from the chaos of the outside world. The golden glow of the hourglass building seemed to radiate with an otherworldly energy, drawing me closer with each passing moment.

Curiosity burned within me, fueling my desire to explore this mystical place further. With each step I took, the air seemed to fill with a subtle hum, the sound of ancient secrets whispering through the corridors of time. As I stood before the grand doors of the hourglass, I hesitated for a moment, feeling a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

With a surge of determination, I pushed open the door, revealing an interior that took my breath away. It was a vast, cylindrical room bathed in warm, golden light. The walls were adorned with intricate murals depicting scenes of nature, celestial bodies, and mythical creatures. The kaleidoscope of vibrant colors danced before my eyes, each brushstroke telling a story that seemed to come alive with every glance.

I took a step forward, my eyes fixated on the ornate staircase that spiraled upwards towards the apex of the hourglass. With each step, the air grew thicker, charged with an undeniable anticipation. It was as if the very fabric of this place was weaving a tale, enticing me to uncover its hidden truths.

As I reached the top, I found myself in a vast observatory, a sanctuary where wonder and knowledge converged. The ceiling was a dome of glass, revealing a breathtaking view of the night sky. Stars glittered like scattered jewels, their radiance casting a soft glow upon the spacious room. And there, in the center, stood a colossal telescope, its presence commanding attention and reverence.

I approached the towering instrument, the desire to learn and explore burning brighter within me. As I peered through the eyepiece, a kaleidoscope of colors and cosmic wonders unfolded before my eyes. I gasped in amazement as I beheld distant galaxies, their celestial dances intertwining in a cosmic ballet. Nebulas swirled with an ethereal beauty, as if painted by the brushstrokes of a divine artist.

Lost in the splendor of the cosmos, I allowed myself to be enveloped by the mysteries of the universe. Questions about our place in the vast expanse of space filled my thoughts, intertwining with a growing sense of humility and interconnectedness. It was as though I had been granted a glimpse into the very fabric of existence, a momentary union with the infinite.

Time seemed both still and fluid in the observatory, as if it expanded and contracted to accommodate the immensity of the knowledge that beckoned me. Hours turned into days, and days into weeks as I delved deeper into the wonders of the universe. I studied ancient texts, deciphered intricate star charts, and engaged in conversations with scholars from far corners of the world.

With each passing moment, I felt myself transforming, my understanding of the world expanding beyond the confines of my existence. The hourglass building became not just a place of beauty, but a beacon of wisdom and enlightenment. It had become a sanctuary where the boundaries of what I once thought possible were shattered, and the true potential of humanity came into focus.

And so, I devoted myself to the pursuit of knowledge, dedicating my life to unraveling the mysteries that lay before me. As I journeyed deeper into the cosmos, I carried with me the wisdom and awe-inspiring beauty I had discovered within the walls of the hourglass. And in doing so, I realized that the true essence of existence can be found not only in the vastness of the universe but also within ourselves.
