Into the Unknown: Error creating story

The two were sitting in the back of a taxi, on the way to some senior prom.

"I just don't understand how you could do this to me." The girl said, with the look of pure confusion written across her face.

"I'm sorry." He replied, "You are going to be late for prom if we don't get moving soon."

"I know, I know. I'm just so confused about everything."

"It's not that hard." He stated.

"Well obviously it's that hard. If it was easy then everyone would be doing it!" She retorted.

He sighed and gave his best attempt at a reassuring smile, "When you find the right person, everything just falls into place."

She shook her head as she rolled her eyes and looked out the window, "What makes you think that she is the right one?" She asked him.

He paused for a moment before answering, "Everything is perfect when I am around her," He smiled, "I feel happy and content all of the time when we are together."

The taxi pulled up at the prom and they got out. She waited by the door while he paid the driver. As soon as he paid the driver and started walking over towards her she began to walk into the building without saying anything to him. He grabbed her arm gently as he kept pace with her. As he approached her he grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. She smiled slightly as she squeezed his hand back before walking inside without saying anything else or looking back at him again. He watched her walk away from him as he stood outside alone now with a puzzled look upon his face. After a few moments he followed after her into the building. Once inside he looked around for any sign of where she might be but could not spot her anywhere in sight. His phone rang suddenly as he looked around trying to figure out where she might have gone to. When he answered his phone there was nothing but silence on the other end of the line. After a moment of silence she finally spoke up, "Are you here?" She asked softly into the phone quietly. Her voice sounded quiet and distant so she must have been trying to keep their conversation private from anyone who might be listening in on them talking together openly within earshot of them both being here at this event together tonight together like this.
