In a stroke of luck, Kaleb wakes up one morning to find Edwin, a fantastical bird from another world, ready to assist Kaleb. Kaleb is elated to have a tail-wagging, bright-eyed, funny companion helping him with his birdhouses. The little town had no idea what they were in for.

The duo quickly turn Kaleb's birdhouse business into a success, raising enough money and attention to attract the attention of the mayor. The mayor quickly dubbed the non-traditional business a disturbance and started a quest to shut it down, no matter the cost. Kaleb and Edwin respond, pushing back on the mayor’s whims in unbelievable and entertaining ways, meeting challenge after challenge, providing love, and joy to all the wildwooders.

Yet, amid the laughs and progressively huge crowds, these two managed to build a remarkable and inspiring friendship. A like-minded bond between two opposites, Kaleb and Edwin's sweetness and kindness helped ignite a spark in the town, driving the narrative of the story towards a special culmination when Kaleb faced the mayor to save Edwin and his birdhouse shop.
