The Unexpected Reunion at G-City's Playboy Mansion

The club was weaving, and I was weaving, and the lights were weaving, and the music was weaving, and the people were weaving.

I grabbed the arms of a couple people as I was on my way to the bar, and they laughed as I passed them along to the next person.

"Hey, Shizuka!"

I turned around, and there was Anna waving at me.

"Anna! got any drinks for me, yet?"

I shouted over the loud music, and she laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, Shizuka. Just the usual, right? Three Long Island Iced Teas?"

I smiled. "Right, Anna!"

I reached the bar, and handed the bar tender a $20 bill, and he gave me three brightly colored drinks in return. I walked back to Anna, and sat down next to her. She was with two other girls, who were talking about boys.

"So, he was just so cute, you know?"

"I know! It was like he was trying to pick me up or something."

"I know that feeling, so well. Remember that one guy, Shizuka?"

"What guy?"

"The one from that party, two weeks ago, at _____'s house? You know, the one with the pool?"

"Oh yeah, that guy."

They all started laughing as they remembered something, and I laughed too. I didn't really remember that guy, but I knew that guy, because I remembered everything that happened at that party. I think I even remembered what I had for breakfast that same day.

"Hey Shizuka, can you go get us some more drinks?" Anna asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Sure! Anything for you, Anna."

I got up, and walked back to the bar. I order a round of Long Islands, and pay for them, but then I remembered that I had spent my last $20 on the first three drinks.

"Um, can we get this round on the tab?" I asked.

"Sure," said the bartender, "but it'll take a few minutes to sort out your tab, so you can't drink these until that's done."

"Okay." I said, disappointed. I stared at the drinks for a few minutes, and the bartender came back.

"Here you go," he said. He handed me a plastic card. "You can use this to pay your tab, whenever you like."

"Thanks."

I walked back to Anna and the others, and gave them the drinks.

"Here you go, Anna."

"Thanks, Shizuka."

I sat down.

"Oh, Shizuka, I just remembered this thing, you did, last week, at _____'s party."

"Oh yeah, I remember that! That was so funny!"

"Yeah! That guy, what was his name, _____?"

"Yeah, that guy!"

"Yeah! He was so cute, you know?"

"Yeah, I know that feeling, so well."

They all started laughing, and I joined in. They told me about this thing, that happened, that was so funny, and then we talked about something else. The night went by quickly, laughing, drinking, and dancing. My tab was getting pretty high, but, I had no money, so I tried to figure out how to pay it.

"Hey Anna, can you go get me another drink?"

"Sure, Shizuka. Anything for you."

"Thanks, Anna."

She got up, and I took her seat. I watched as she walked up to the bar. I laughed as she ordered a round of Long Islands, and she paid for them. She turned around, and started walking back.

"This is crazy, Anna, isn't it? I mean, I'm spending so much money tonight, and I don't even have any money."

"Yeah, it is pretty crazy, Shizuka."

She sat down, and I went back to my spot. Then, one of the girls I was sitting with, said something.

"Hey, Shizuka, can we get this round on the tab?"

I looked at my drink, and I realized that I had an idea. I leaned over to Anna, and whispered in her ear.

"Anna, can you buy the drinks, and put my card in to pay for them?"

"Sure, Shizuka, anything for you."

"Thanks, Anna."

She got up, and I sat down. She walked over to the bar, and ordered the drinks. She paid for them, and gave the bartender my card. Then she walked back to us.

"Here you go, Shizuka."

"Thank you, Anna."

I took the drinks, and walked back to the bar. I paid for them, and gave the bartender my card back. He gave me the receipt, and I walked back to Anna.

"Here, Anna. Can you go get the rest of the drinks? My card only has $20 left on it, but I still want to buy the drinks."

"Sure, Shizuka. Anything for you."

She got up, and walked to the bar. She ordered the drinks, and paid for them, and I took them from her when she got back. I bought the rest of the drinks, and then I gave the bartender my card back.

"Here you go, Anna."

"Thanks, Shizuka."

We finished off the drinks, and then we went back to dancing. The night ended late, and we drove home drunk. Once we got home, Anna drove me to the bank, where I used my card to deposit most of the money I had spent that night into my account. Then, I went home, and fell asleep.
