18 to 8: The Fight for Control
·
Published 11/20/2023"Alright, boys, we're in charge while your parents are out," Mark said, trying to sound confident. He and his two friends, Kyle and Jake, were all eighteen and had been hired to babysit the four twelve-year-old black boys who lived next door. The black boys were known for being a bit wild and were surprisingly strong for their age.
"Yeah, that's right," Kyle added. "So just behave yourselves and we won't have any problems."
The black boys exchanged glances with each other before smirking at the white teenagers. "You think you can tell us what to do?" one of them asked.
"That's right," Jake said firmly. "We're in charge here."
The black boys burst into laughter. "Y'all ain't in charge of nothin'," one of them said. "In fact, I dare you to wrestle us. If you win, then maybe we'll listen to you."
Mark frowned at the challenge. He wasn't much of a fighter and didn't want any trouble. But he also didn't want to back down in front of his friends or the kids they were supposed to be watching.
"Fine," he said after a moment. "We accept your challenge."
The black boys grinned as they moved some furniture around in the living room to create a makeshift wrestling ring.
"Oh yeah," one of them said. "This is gonna be fun."
Mark gulped nervously as he glanced at his friends. They all looked just as worried as he felt.
"What did we get ourselves into?" Kyle muttered under his breath.
"I don't know," Jake replied quietly. "But we can't back out now."
The black boys finished setting up the ring before climbing inside it and glaring at the white teenagers expectantly.
"Well?" one of them asked impatiently.
"Who wants to go first?" Mark whispered to his friends.
"Not me," Kyle replied immediately.
"Yeah, I don't think I can do this," Jake added.
Mark sighed. "Alright, I'll go first."
He climbed into the ring and stood across from one of the black boys, who was already smirking confidently.
"You ready for this?" he asked.
Mark nodded, trying to sound more confident than he felt. "Yeah, let's do it."
The black boy wasted no time in lunging at Mark and grabbing him by the shirt. He easily lifted him off his feet and slammed him down onto the mat.
"Oof!" Mark grunted as the wind was knocked out of him.
The black boy laughed as he grabbed Mark by the ankles and spun him around in a circle before tossing him out of the ring.
Mark landed on the floor with a thud as his friends rushed over to check on him. The black boys laughed and high-fived each other as they waited for Mark to get back up.
"You okay?" Kyle asked as he helped Mark to his feet.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Mark replied with a wince. "Just a little sore."
He climbed back into the ring and glared at the black boy who had thrown him out.
"You're going down," he said defiantly.
The black boy just grinned and cracked his knuckles before lunging at Mark again. This time, Mark was able to duck out of the way and grab onto the black boy's arm. He twisted it behind his back and pinned him down onto the mat.
The black boy struggled to break free but couldn't escape from Mark's grip. After a few moments, he finally tapped out in defeat.
Mark released his hold on the black boy and stood up triumphantly as his friends cheered for him. The other three black boys scowled at their friend's defeat before climbing into the ring themselves.
Kyle went next, but he didn't fare much better than Mark. He was quickly overpowered by one of the black boys and thrown out of the ring.
Jake was up next, and he put up a good fight, but he was eventually pinned down onto the mat and forced to tap out.
Mark went back in for another round, but he was too tired and sore to put up much of a fight. He was easily tossed around by the black boy and thrown out of the ring once again.
Kyle and Jake tried to go back in, but they were too scared after seeing how easily their friends had been defeated.
The black boys laughed as they realized they had won. "Looks like we're in charge now," one of them said with a smirk.
"Y'all better start listening to us," another added.
Mark glared at them as he climbed back into the ring. "Not so fast," he said defiantly. "I'm not giving up that easily."
The black boys laughed at his determination before lunging at him again. Mark did his best to fight back, but he was no match for their strength and skill.
After a few minutes, Mark was completely exhausted and covered in bruises. He finally collapsed onto the mat in defeat as the black boys cheered for their victory.
"Alright, that's enough," Kyle said nervously. "You guys won fair and square."
"Yeah," Jake agreed. "We'll do whatever you say from now on."
The black boys exchanged satisfied glances with each other before grinning at the white teenagers.
"That's what I thought," one of them said smugly.
"Now go make us some dinner," another added.
Mark sighed as he climbed to his feet and nodded reluctantly. It looked like they were going to be serving the black boys' every need for the rest of the night.
