Rachel Mercer

Rachel is a skilled forensic accountant who specializes in uncovering financial fraud. She works for a private investigation firm and has a reputation for being meticulous and relentless. Her latest case involves a missing person and a trail of embezzled funds that leads to a small town with many secrets.

Rachel is pragmatic and detail-oriented, often coming across as aloof. She has a dry wit and a strong sense of justice, driven by a personal tragedy that fuels her determination. She is fiercely independent but struggles with trusting others, especially after being betrayed in the past.
